More than 700 divers took part in the draw, and one lucky girl won among them all. Her name is Céline, and she comes from a little town of the canton Zurich, in the German-speaking part of Switzerland.
Let’s get to know her better 🙂

 

Hello Céline! How long have you been diving, and how did it all start?

I’ve been diving since May 2018. Already a few years ago I wanted to do a try-dive, and took our vacation plans to go to Hawaii as the best opportunity. So we did a try-dive in a pool in Switzerland – and got so addicted from the first time underwater that we just started the Open Water Course a few days later. I got certified in the 9-degrees cold Lake Zurich, but guess what: that was the best decision I could ever take. Last dive was in April 2023 in Curaçao, a Lesser Antilles island in the southern Caribbean Sea.

 

How does it feel to turn 40?

I will celebrate my birthday in a few days, so now I don’t know yet… But I’m not scared of it 🙂

 

What do you wish yourself for the next 40 years, and what do you wish DAN?

Losování se zúčastnilo více než 700 potápěčů a mezi všemi zvítězila jedna šťastlivka. Jmenuje se Céline a pochází z malého města ležícího v kantonu Curych v německy mluvící části Švýcarska.

Ahoj Céline! Jak dlouho se potápíš a jak to všechno začalo?

Potápím se od května 2018. Už před pár lety jsem si chtěla potápění zkusit a naši plánovanou dovolenou na Havaji jsem k tomu považovala za nejlepší příležitost. Takže jsme si vyzkoušeli potápění v bazénu ve Švýcarsku – a od prvního pobytu pod vodou nás to tak uchvátilo, že jsme o pár dní později zahájili kurs Open Water Diver. Získala jsem certifikát v 9 stupňů studeném Curyšském jezeře, ale bylo to snad nejlepší rozhodnutí, jaké jsem kdy mohla udělat. Své narozeniny oslavím až za pár dní, tak teď ještě nevím… Ale nebojím se toho 🙂

 

Co si přeješ do dalších 40 let a co přeješ DAN?

Pevné zdraví – to je samozřejmě nejdůležitější. A s tím i zajímavé ponory, cestování a navíc i nějaké to dobrodružství. Co se týče DAN, doufám, že vás nikdy nebudu muset žádat o pomoc 🙂 – Ale upřímně děkuji za veškerou podporu, kterou poskytujete všem potápěčům po celém světě![/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=”normal” up=”50″ down=”50″][vc_column_text]Céline vyhrála bezplatné členství a malou krabičku překvapení, včetně značkového oblečení a vybavení od DAN Europe.

Meer dan 700 duikers hebben aan de loting meegedaan en een gelukkige dame heeft gewonnen. Ze heet Céline en komt uit een klein stadje in het kanton Zürich, in het Duits sprekende deel van Zwitserland.

Hallo Céline! Hoe lang duik je al en hoe is het ooit begonnen?

Ik duik al sinds mei 2018. Al een aantal jaar geleden wilde ik een introductieduik maken en maakte gebruik van onze vakantieplannen om naar Hawaï te gaan als de beste gelegenheid ervoor. En zo deden we een introductieduik in een zwembad in Zwitserland – en we raakten zo verslaafd na de eerste keer onderwater dat we gewoon een paar dagen later de Open Water Cursus deden. Ik haalde mijn brevet in het 9 graden koude Meer van Zürich maar raad eens: het was de beste beslissing die ik ooit genomen had. Sindsdien heb ik 160 duiken gemaakt.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row css_animation=”” row_type=”row” use_row_as_full_screen_section=”no” type=”grid” angled_section=”no” text_align=”left” background_image_as_pattern=”without_pattern” z_index=””][vc_column el_class=”page-text”][vc_empty_space height=”30px”][vc_column_text]Wanneer en waar heb je voor het laatst gedoken?

De laatste duik was in april 2023 in Curaçao, een van de kleinere eilanden in de Antillen in de zuidelijke Caribische Zee.

 

Hoe voelt het om 40 te worden?

Ik vier over een paar dagen mijn verjaardag, dus weet ik dat nu nog niet… Maar ik ben er niet bang voor 🙂

 

Wat wens je voor jezelf voor de komende 40 jaar, en wat wens je voor DAN?

Goede gezondheid – het allerbelangrijkste. Samen met gelukkige en interessante duiken, reizen en avonturen. Voor DAN hoop ik dat ik nooit gebruik van jullie hoef te maken ;-). Se sijaitsee Sveitsin saksankielisessä osassa.

Hei Céline! Kuinka pitkään olet sukeltanut, ja miten tämä harrastuksesi alkoi?

Olen sukeltanut toukokuusta 2018 alkaen. Jo joitakin vuosia aikaisemmin haaveilin sukelluskokeilusta. Olimme suunnittelemassa lomamatkaa Havaijille, ja ajattelin, että nyt olisi erinomainen tilaisuus toteuttaa tämä haave. Niinpä me sitten osallistuimme altaassa tapahtuvaan sukelluskokeiluun Sveitsissä. Heti ensimmäisellä sukelluskerralla jäimme siihen niin koukkuun, että aloitimme Open Water -kurssin heti muutaman päivän kuluttua. Suoritin sukellussertifikaattini 9-asteisessa Zürich-järvessä, mutta saatte uskoa, että kyseessä oli elämäni paras päätös. Tämän jälkeen olen sukeltanut kaiken kaikkiaan 160 kertaa.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row css_animation=”” row_type=”row” use_row_as_full_screen_section=”no” type=”grid” angled_section=”no” text_align=”left” background_image_as_pattern=”without_pattern” z_index=””][vc_column el_class=”page-text”][vc_empty_space height=”30px”][vc_column_text]Missä ja milloin sukelsit viimeksi?

Viimeisin sukellukseni oli huhtikuussa 2023 Curaçaolla, joka on saari Pienillä-Antilleilla eteläisellä Karibianmerellä.

 

Miltä tuntuu täyttää 40 vuotta?

Vietän syntymäpäivääni muutaman päivän kuluttua, joten en nyt vielä tiedä… En ole kuitenkaan peloissani :-).

 

Mitä toivot itsellesi seuraaville 40 vuodelle, ja mitä toivot DANille?

Toivon itselleni hyvää terveyttä, joka on kaikkein tärkein asia. Lisäksi toivon onnistuneita ja mielenkiintoisia sukelluksia, matkoja ja seikkailuja. DANin suhteen toivon, että minun ei tarvitsisi käyttää palveluitanne;-). Kiitos kaikesta siitä tuesta, jota te osoitatte kaikille sukeltajille ympäri maailmaa![/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=”normal” up=”50″ down=”50″][vc_column_text]Céline voitti ilmaisen jäsenyyden ja pienen laatikollisen yllätyksiä, joihin sisältyy muun muassa DANin logolla varustettuja vaatteita ja muita DAN Europen varusteita.

Viettäessämme nyt 40-vuotispäiviämme yhdessä valmistaudumme vastaanottamaan uudet haasteet ja seikkailut. Jatkamme edelleenkin aaltojen alta löytyvien monien tuntemattomien rikkauksien tutkimista turvallisesti.

De la chance à 40 ans : une plongeuse suisse gagne le concours DAN Europe

Bonjour Céline ! Depuis combien de temps plongez-vous, et comment avez-vous commencé ?

Je plonge depuis mai 2018. Il y a quelques années déjà, je voulais essayer la plongée, et nos projets de vacances à Hawaï étaient l’occasion idéale. Nous avons donc fait un essai dans une piscine en Suisse – et nous avons été tellement accros dès notre première immersion que nous avons commencé la formation Open Water quelques jours plus tard. J’ai obtenu ma certification dans les 9 degrés du lac de Zurich, mais devinez quoi : c’était la meilleure décision que j’ai jamais prise. Qu’est-ce que ça fait d’avoir 40 ans?

Je vais célébrer mon anniversaire dans quelques jours alors je ne sais trop encore… Mais en tout cas, cela ne me fait pas peur!

Ich tauche seit Mai 2018. Ausprobieren wollte ich es schon länger, und dann planten wir einen Urlaub in Hawaii. Die Gelegenheit war perfekt. Wir machten zuerst einen Schnuppertauchgang in einem Schwimmbad in Zürich und waren so angefixt, dass wir wenige Tage später mit unserem Freiwasserschein anfingen. Dieser fand im Zürichsee bei 9 Grad Wassertemperatur statt, aber es war die beste Entscheidung. Das war im April 2023 in Curaçao, einer Insel in den Kleinen Antillen in der südlichen Karibik.

 

Wie fühlt es sich an, 40 zu werden?

Mein Geburtstag ist in ein paar Tagen – ich weiß es noch nicht, aber Angst habe ich keine. 🙂

 

Was wünschst du dir für die nächsten 40 Jahre, und was sind deine Wünsche für DAN?

Gute Gesundheit ist das Wichtigste. Dazu glückliche und interessante Tauchgänge, Reisen und Abenteuer. Più di 700 subacquei hanno partecipato all’estrazione e tra tutti ha vinto una fortunata ragazza svizzera. Si chiama Céline e viene da una cittadina del cantone di Zurigo, nella Svizzera tedesca. Conosciamola meglio 🙂

 

Ciao Céline! Da quanto tempo ti immergi e come è iniziato tutto?

Mi immergo da maggio 2018. Già qualche anno fa volevo fare un try-dive, poi quando abbiamo pianificato le nostre vacanze alle Hawaii abbiamo deciso che era il momento giusto. Così abbiamo fatto un’immersione di prova in una piscina in Svizzera. Siamo rimasti così affascinati dalla nostra esperienza sott’acqua che abbiamo iniziato il corso Open Water pochi giorni dopo. Ho ottenuto il brevetto nel lago di Zurigo, con una temperatura di 9 gradi, ma indovinate un po’: è stata la decisione migliore che potessi mai prendere! L’ultima immersione l’ho fatta ad aprile 2023 a Curaçao, un’isola delle Piccole Antille, a Sud del Mar dei Caraibi.

 

Come ci si sente a compiere 40 anni?

Festeggerò il mio compleanno tra pochi giorni, quindi ora non lo so ancora… Ma la cosa non mi spaventa 🙂

 

Cosa ti auguri per i prossimi 40 anni, e cosa auguri a DAN?

Dlatego zorganizowaliśmy konkurs dla wszystkich członków, którzy tak jak my w tym roku kończą 40 lat. W loterii wzięło udział ponad 700 nurków, a wygraną otrzyma szczęśliwa zwyciężczyni. Nazywa się Céline i pochodzi z małego miasteczka w kantonie Zurych w niemieckojęzycznej części Szwajcarii. Poznajmy ją bliżej 🙂
Cześć Céline. Jak długo już nurkujesz i jak zaczęła się Twoja przygoda z nurkowaniem?

Nurkuję od maja 2018 roku. Już kilka lat temu chcieliśmy spróbować nurkowania i pojechać na wakacje na Hawaje przy pierwszej okazji. Zapisaliśmy się na nurkowanie wstępne w basenie w Szwajcarii i od pierwszego momentu pod wodą tak nam się spodobało, że kilka dni później rozpoczęliśmy kurs Open Water Diver. Otrzymałam certyfikat po nurkowaniach w Jeziorze Zuryskim w wodzie o temperaturze 9 stopni, ale była to najlepsza decyzja, jaką kiedykolwiek podjęłam. Będę obchodzić czterdzieste urodziny za kilka dni, także jeszcze nie wiem, ale nie boję się tego 🙂

 

Czego życzysz sobie na kolejne 40 lat i czego życzysz DAN?

Zdrowia, ponieważ jest najważniejsze. Poza tym szczęśliwych, interesujących nurkowań, podróży i przygód. Hola, Céline. ¿Cuánto tiempo llevas buceando y cómo empezó todo?

Llevo buceando desde mayo de 2018. Ya hace unos años. Quería hacer un bautizo de buceo y mis vacaciones en Hawái suponían la ocasión ideal. Así que hicimos una prueba en una piscina, en Suiza – y nos volvimos tan adictos desde la primera vez, que acabamos empezando el Curso de Open unos días más tarde. Obtuve el certificado en el frío lago de Zúrich, a 9 grados, pero adivina qué: fue la mejor decisión que pude tomar. Celebraré mi cumpleaños dentro de unos días, así que aún no lo sé… Pero no me asusta 🙂
