Oxygen First Aid for Diving Emergencies

The DAN Oxygen First Aid for Diving Emergencies course is designed to teach divers and non-divers (e.g. a diving boat Captain) to recognise signs and symptoms of diving related injuries and to administer Oxygen during first aid in diving emergencies, waiting for the arrival of the Advanced Medical Services or the evacuation to the nearest medical center. This course provides the fundamentals for the recognition, response and management of scuba diving accidents and is an opportunity for experienced divers and instructors to learn more. The programme includes insights on basic anatomy and physiology and the different mechanisms of water accidents.
